Q: Do you have a late policy?
If Client is more than 15 minutes late logging into the scheduled Zoom session and fails to provide OT Helpline with notice that Client will be late, Client will be considered a “no-show” and tutoring services for that session will be deemed to have been provided by OT Helpline. In such circumstances no refunds or credits will be given for the missed session. If Client provides advanced notice of the late login, OT Helpline will provide tutoring for the balance of the scheduled session once Client logs in.
Q: Can you record during a tutoring session?
Video or audio recordings of any tutoring is expressly prohibited, unless Client obtains permission from OT Helpline, which may be granted in OT Helpline’s sole discretion, prior to taking the recording. Any authorized recordings are to be used solely for the benefit of the Client, and cannot be resold, distributed, broadcast or disseminated in any way to a third-party. Unauthorized recording of any session, and/or dissemination of any recorded tutoring session contrary to the terms of the section will be considered a material breach of this Agreement. If such a breach occurs, OT Helpline may, at its sole discretion, immediately terminate the Tutoring Services Agreement. Termination by OT Helpline due to material breach of this section will result in Client forfeiting all prepaid tutoring sessions with no refund, and Client will be permanently banned from purchasing future tutoring services from OT Helpline.
Q: Do you have a cancellation/ rescheduling policy?
Q: What is the difference between OT Helpline and OT Help Desk?
Client may cancel or reschedule any tutoring sessions by providing notice up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled session and will receive full credit for a future tutoring session. If the Client cancels with less than 24 hours’ notice, no credit or refund will be given, and tutoring services will be deemed to have been provided for the cancelled session. If the Client wishes to reschedule the session but fails to provide 24 hours’ notice, a $25 rescheduling fee will be charged.
Client may cancel the purchase of any tutoring package by providing notice up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled time of the first tutoring session. Upon timely cancellation, Client will receive a refund of the full cost to the tutoring package. Refunds for cancellation requests received less than 24 hours prior to the first scheduled tutoring session or thereafter will be considered, but not guaranteed, on a case-by-case basis solely within the discretion of the Tutoring Service.
While both businesses prepare students for the occupational therapy exam, they offer distinct approaches. OT Helpline specializes in personalized, one-on-one tutoring, tailoring its services to each student's needs and providing the support necessary for exam success. In contrast, according to the OT Help Desk website, they offer “targeted study materials, practice exams, expert guidance, and structured study plans, all tailored to the board.”
